I have been a postdoc at Denis-Charles Cisinski's research group, since February 2023. I am currently funded by the SFB Higher Invariants. Before that, my position at Regensburg University was funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation until February 2025.
I did my PhD at KTH, under the supervision of David Rydh, and my undergraduate studies at Leiden University, supervised by Robin de Jong and Ieke Moerdijk.
My work is aimed at the (derived) intersection of homotopy theory and analytic geometry. I started out working towards derived algebraic geometry during my PhD, mostly from an animated perspective. The path towards my current aim has been through the (as of yet partially conjectural) embedding of derived algebraic geometry into derived analytic geometry, where `derived' now also includes a nonconnective part of the story.
I have a recent interest in topics surrounding the interactions between mathematics, AI and formalization. I believe these topics have the potential of radically changing the human practice of mathematics, society, and maybe even life as we know it. As of yet, I have a lot more to learn and explore in this direction.
Outside of mathematics I am interested in the interactions between homotopy theory and philosophy (in particular with epistemology, ontology and metaphysics, mostly from the continental side but also a little bit from the Buddhist side).
